Are you a detail-oriented Business Analyst with a passion for regulatory compliance and data governance? Our client, a leading Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) institution, is seeking a high-performing Regulatory Change Business Analyst to join their team in the East Region.
In this strategic contract role, you will play a pivotal part in the implementation of Privacy Local Addendum requirements. You will bridge the gap between complex regulatory mandates and operational execution, ensuring the bank adheres to strict data privacy standards while maintaining business efficiency. Responsibility
- Analyze and interpret complex regulatory requirements related to Data Privacy and Privacy Local Addendums.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, IT, and Business units to define project requirements.
- Perform gap analysis on existing business processes to ensure alignment with new data privacy mandates.
- Develop detailed business requirement documents (BRD) and functional specifications for system enhancements.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of privacy governance initiatives, ensuring deliverables meet strict deadlines.
- Monitor compliance post-implementation and facilitate necessary adjustments to data handling procedures.
- Prepare regular progress reports for senior stakeholders and governance committees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Banking & Financial Services sector.
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., PDPA, GDPR) and governance frameworks.
- Proven track record in managing regulatory change projects within an institutional banking environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements for business users.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
- Strong problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
