Responsibility
- Translate written and verbal communications between Chinese and English/Filipino languages.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions between Chinese management and local employees.
- Ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations of documents, emails, and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, training materials, and other business documents.
- Provide interpretation services during conferences, negotiations, and other business events.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all translations and interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to improve communication processes and workflows.
- Stay updated on industry terminology and cultural nuances to ensure high-quality translations.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English; knowledge of Filipino is a plus.
- Proven experience as a translator or interpreter, preferably in a business setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity to ensure accurate and appropriate translations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and translation software/tools.
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a multicultural work environment is an advantage.
