Responsibility
- Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting for the branch.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and local standards.
- Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular financial audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to support business growth.
- Supervise, mentor, and train the accounting team to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local platforms) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; familiarity with Bali’s business landscape is advantageous.
