Responsibility
- Oversee and manage all aspects of vehicle repair, maintenance, and diagnostics to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of mechanics and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime and extend the lifespan of fleet assets.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics using advanced tools and software to identify mechanical, electrical, or structural issues.
- Coordinate with parts and inventory teams to ensure the availability of necessary components and supplies for timely repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, service logs, and cost analyses.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in workshop operations.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets, set performance targets, and report on key metrics related to workshop efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive mechanics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, commercial vehicles, or heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, electrical systems, and hybrid/electric vehicle technologies.
- Certification from a recognized automotive institution (e.g., ASE, TÜV, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and interact with stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, workshop management software, and digital maintenance tracking systems.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving technological advancements in the automotive industry.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
