Responsibility
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for Thales' operations in Asia, covering IT, OT, and Product security.
- Lead and mentor the regional security team, ensuring alignment with global security policies and best practices.
- Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response to safeguard critical assets.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate security into business processes and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with international security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and regional regulations.
- Drive security awareness programs to cultivate a security-first culture across the organization.
- Evaluate and implement cutting-edge security technologies to enhance threat detection and prevention.
- Act as the primary liaison for security audits, certifications, and third-party assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in IT, OT, and Product security, with a deep understanding of emerging threats.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in managing security budgets, vendor relationships, and security operations centers (SOC).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
