Responsibility
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and tax filings.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to senior management for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure financial alignment with operational goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of mentoring and developing staff.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial matters.
