Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standardized recipes and special orders.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of junior kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations during service.
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment, and assist in ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Monitor food presentation and plating to meet the restaurantās high standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring new kitchen staff to uphold culinary excellence.
- Manage kitchen workflow efficiently to minimize waste and optimize productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure.
