Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standardized recipes and special orders.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of junior kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations during service.
  • Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment, and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
  • Monitor food presentation and plating to meet the restaurant’s high standards.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new kitchen staff to uphold culinary excellence.
  • Manage kitchen workflow efficiently to minimize waste and optimize productivity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for developing innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is an advantage.
