Responsibility
- Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring all ingredients and supplies are stocked and fresh.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop new menu items and refine existing ones.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Assist in managing kitchen staff schedules and workflows to optimize efficiency.
- Participate in regular tastings and quality checks to maintain consistency and excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a Chef de Partie role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and culinary artistry.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices.
