Responsibility

  • Assist head chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Chop, slice, and prepare ingredients (vegetables, meats, seafood) efficiently to support daily kitchen operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Operate kitchen equipment (e.g., ovens, grills, mixers) safely and report any malfunctions immediately.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality.
  • Follow portion control guidelines to optimize costs and maintain consistency in dish presentation.
  • Participate in kitchen setup, breakdown, and cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary setting (entry-level candidates with passion are encouraged to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices (certification is a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and follow instructions accurately.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 20 kg), and work in hot conditions.
