Responsibility
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Develop and implement creative menu concepts that align with Cantik Group's culinary vision.
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards).
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize food waste to optimize costs.
- Train and mentor commis chefs and kitchen assistants on preparation techniques and plating.
- Ensure all dishes are served at the correct temperature and meet presentation standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to execute special events and private bookings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a professional kitchen environment.
- Formal culinary training or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diverse cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor pairings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Strong understanding of kitchen equipment maintenance and food cost management.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
