Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
- Support patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and daily living activities under the supervision of a therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and ready for use.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during therapy sessions to enhance their motivation and engagement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies to support ongoing recovery.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in therapy assistance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Therapy Assistance, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a therapy assistant role or similar healthcare setting (fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome to apply).
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical stamina and ability to assist patients with mobility challenges, including lifting and transferring.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
