Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety and quality management plans for port, terminal, and infrastructure construction projects in compliance with DOSH, local regulations, and international standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Lead safety training sessions for site personnel, contractors, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
- Oversee quality control processes, including material testing, workmanship inspections, and documentation to ensure project deliverables meet specified standards.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for preventive measures.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of safety and quality protocols into project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of safety and quality documentation, including permits, certifications, and compliance reports for regulatory submissions.
- Stay updated on evolving safety regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements to continuously improve safety and quality systems.
Qualifications
- DOSH Green Book Certification (mandatory) with a valid license to practice in Indonesia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety and quality management roles, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or port/terminal projects.
- Proven expertise in DOSH regulations, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and other relevant safety/quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessment methodologies, and incident investigation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, safety management software, and quality control tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong commitment to safety and quality excellence.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required; additional languages are a plus.
