Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and execute rigging operations for heavy lifting and equipment transport in compliance with K3 safety regulations.
- Inspect and maintain rigging equipment, including slings, shackles, hooks, and cranes, to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
- Calculate load weights, center of gravity, and rigging configurations to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
- Coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and ground crews to ensure seamless and safe lifting operations.
- Conduct pre-lift safety briefings and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures.
- Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and relocation of heavy machinery and structural components on construction sites.
- Document rigging activities, incidents, and safety inspections in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Provide training and guidance to junior riggers and site personnel on safe rigging practices and equipment handling.
Qualifications
- Valid K3 Rigger Certification (mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Rigger in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting lifting plans, load charts, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of rigging equipment, including wire ropes, synthetic slings, chain hoists, and spreader bars.
- Familiarity with OSHA/K3 safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting operations.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging outdoor environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure safe and efficient rigging operations.
- Strong communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia to collaborate with multinational teams.
