Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive antenatal care, including health assessments, screenings, and education for expectant mothers.
- Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring safe and supportive childbirth experiences for patients.
- Monitor and manage postpartum recovery, including newborn care, breastfeeding support, and maternal health checks.
- Conduct family planning consultations and reproductive health education for women of all ages.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and pediatricians to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and families on maternal health, newborn care, and preventive measures to promote long-term well-being.
- Participate in emergency response protocols for high-risk pregnancies and complications.
Qualifications
- Certified Midwife (Bidan) with a valid license to practice in Indonesia.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in maternal and newborn care, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and families.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Familiarity with medical equipment and technology used in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on advancements in midwifery.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is a plus.
