Responsibility
- Monitor designated swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all guests.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed.
- Enforce pool and beach rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment for all visitors.
- Conduct regular inspections of aquatic facilities to identify and address potential hazards.
- Assist in the maintenance of lifesaving equipment, ensuring all tools are in optimal working condition.
- Provide guidance and education to guests on water safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and management to improve safety protocols and emergency response plans.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and daily activities as required.
Qualifications
- Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross, ILS, or equivalent).
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR/AED.
- Proven experience as a lifeguard in a pool, beach, or resort setting is preferred.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness to perform rescues and other lifesaving tasks.
- Excellent observational skills and the ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests, colleagues, and emergency personnel.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
