Responsibility
- Design, configure, and deploy LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks to meet business requirements.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and security protocols to safeguard data integrity.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and upgrade existing infrastructure.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports for compliance and auditing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and junior engineers.
- Stay updated with emerging networking trends and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability.
Qualifications
- CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is mandatory.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in network engineering, administration, or support roles.
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco IOS, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and switching technologies (VLAN, STP).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security principles.
- Experience with firewall management (ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and VPN solutions.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
