Responsibility
- Assist in food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure high-quality catering services.
- Supervise and coordinate catering staff during events to maintain efficiency and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Manage inventory and stock levels, placing orders as needed to avoid shortages.
- Set up and break down catering equipment and event spaces according to client requirements.
- Liaise with clients to confirm event details and address any special requests.
- Train and mentor junior staff to uphold company standards and service excellence.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and staff interactions.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in catering.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
- Physical stamina to handle standing, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
