Responsibility
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based reporting tools, including spreadsheets, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions.
- Conduct regular Days of Stock (DOS) analysis to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and align inventory with business objectives.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on category performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in the implementation of category strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify slow-moving or high-performing products and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the planning team in budgeting, promotional planning, and assortment optimization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory movements, stock levels, and supplier performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory planning, category management, or a similar analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
