Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance to enhance their shopping or dining experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area at all times.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments securely, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or discrepancies with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock levels or damaged products to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or retail experience is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Cashier, Retail Associate, or in a customer-facing role.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems or cash registers.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Fluency in English is highly desirable; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, Russian, etc.) are a bonus.
