Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers and POS systems.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving complaints.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in training new cashiers and providing support as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to security and safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
