Responsibility
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the nursing team.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and caring environment.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration, ensuring patients receive proper nutrition and care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and ensure the well-being of patients.
- Assist in the transportation of patients within the facility, ensuring their safety and comfort during movement.
- Participate in training and professional development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in healthcare.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or caregiving role (e.g., Nursing Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, or similar).
- Certification or training in healthcare assistance, nursing, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from healthcare professionals.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
