Responsibility

  • Lead kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Develop and refine menus in alignment with seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of cooks, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Oversee inventory management, cost control, and supplier negotiations to optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and internal SOPs.
  • Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Innovate with new recipes and culinary techniques to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing training and feedback to drive improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SMK/D3 in Culinary Arts (Tata Boga) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience as a Captain, Head Chef, or Sous Chef in hospitality (hotels, resorts, or fine dining).
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian and international cuisines, with a focus on fresh, local ingredients.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, food safety standards, and kitchen management software is a plus.
  • Immediate availability to start (priority for candidates ready to join ASAP).
  • Fluency in English and/or Indonesian; additional languages are advantageous.
