Responsibility
- Perform in-house and offsite calibration of equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain and update calibration records and documentation in accordance with ISO requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement calibration procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all calibration activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize calibration processes and workflows.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Calibration Technician or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of calibration standards, ISO requirements, and quality assurance principles.
- Proficiency in using calibration tools and software, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in calibration or quality management is a plus.
