Responsibility
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure a seamless dining experience from start to finish.
- Operate Café Equipment: Prepare and serve beverages (coffee, tea, specialty drinks) and desserts using café equipment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain Café Cleanliness: Keep the dining area, service stations, and kitchen tidy, ensuring a pleasant environment for customers and staff.
- Handle Cash and Payments: Process transactions efficiently using POS systems, handle cash responsibly, and provide accurate change.
- Assist with Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of ingredients, supplies, and retail products, and report shortages to the management team.
- Upsell and Promote Menu Items: Recommend signature desserts, beverages, and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and boost sales.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with baristas, chefs, and fellow crew members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Resolve Customer Concerns: Address feedback or complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in café, restaurant, or customer service roles is a plus, but not required—we welcome enthusiastic beginners!
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and a passion for hospitality.
- Communication: Fluent in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a bonus.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for extended periods, lifting up to 10kg, and multitasking during busy shifts.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for cleanliness, presentation, and accuracy in order-taking and payment processing.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Work Permit: Valid work authorization in Indonesia (for foreign applicants, a valid work visa is required).
