Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for engineering, architectural, and construction projects using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Organize and manage drawing files, versions, and documentation in a structured digital library for easy retrieval and reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings with precise dimensions and annotations.
- Perform quality checks on drawings to identify and correct errors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials, including renderings and visualizations, to support client meetings and project proposals.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies, tools, and industry best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Support the project lifecycle by providing timely updates and revisions to drawings as designs evolve.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a CAD Operator, Drafter, or similar role in engineering, architecture, or construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software with a strong portfolio showcasing technical drawing skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, blueprint reading, and technical specifications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce highly accurate drawings under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and 3D modeling is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
