Responsibility
- Develop and refine detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and schematics for engineering projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design specifications and requirements.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory compliance.
- Review and validate CAD designs for accuracy, scalability, and functionality before submission.
- Maintain organized digital files and version control for all project documentation.
- Optimize CAD workflows to improve efficiency and reduce project turnaround time.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CAD software and hardware issues.
- Stay updated on the latest CAD technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance design quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a CAD Operator, Drafter, or similar role in engineering or architecture.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, blueprint reading, and technical drawing standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and spatial awareness to ensure precision in designs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an advantage.
