Responsibility
- Develop and modify CAD drawings, blueprints, and 3D models based on project specifications.
- Provide technical support for awarded project contracts, ensuring compliance with design standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to refine designs and resolve technical issues.
- Review and validate CAD files for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry regulations.
- Optimize design processes to improve efficiency and reduce project timelines.
- Maintain organized digital libraries of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Assist in preparing presentations and visualizations for client meetings and internal reviews.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD software, tools, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a CAD Operator, Designer, or Drafter, preferably in construction or architectural firms.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, blueprint reading, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex design specifications.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and present technical information clearly.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
