Responsibility
- Develop accurate and detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings, layouts, and models based on architectural and engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Review and modify existing drawings to incorporate changes, updates, or revisions as requested by stakeholders.
- Ensure all CAD files are properly organized, labeled, and stored for easy retrieval and version control.
- Perform quality checks on drawings to verify accuracy, dimensions, and compliance with project guidelines.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) to create and edit technical drawings for construction, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members or interns as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CAD Operator, Drafter, or similar role in the construction, architecture, or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar tools. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP drafting standards and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness to ensure precision in designs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
