Responsibility
- Convert rough sketches, blueprints, and verbal instructions into accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to refine designs and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards.
- Maintain organized records of all CAD files, revisions, and project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in drawings to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and industry best practices to enhance productivity.
- Support the engineering team in developing prototypes and testing designs for functionality.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a CAD Operator or similar role, preferably in the HVAC or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with engineers, architects, and project managers.
- Ability to interpret complex instructions and translate them into precise technical drawings.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to HVAC systems is a plus.
