Responsibility
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and schematics for engineering projects using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design specifications and ensure accuracy in technical documentation.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback to meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Maintain organized files and version control for all design documents to ensure easy retrieval and updates.
- Conduct site visits or virtual meetings to gather dimensions, specifications, and other critical data for design accuracy.
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support to production teams by clarifying design intent and resolving discrepancies.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD tools, techniques, and industry trends to enhance design efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Diploma holders with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in CAD design, with a strong portfolio showcasing technical drawings and 3D models.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar CAD software is a must.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in Day Shift or Night Shift as per business needs.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
