Responsibility
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimize product availability and sales performance.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to make informed buying decisions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
- Lead and mentor a team of merchandising professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to align product assortments with promotional campaigns.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement, visual merchandising, and customer feedback.
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance, inventory turnover, and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail buying, merchandising, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills for dealing with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a team.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the retail industry in Bali and Southeast Asia is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
