Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of AV product roadmaps aligned with business goals and market trends.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to design customized AV solutions for diverse client needs.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of AV products, from concept to deployment, including testing, training, and support.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for key clients, ensuring their requirements are met with innovative, high-quality AV solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct competitive research to identify emerging AV technologies and opportunities for differentiation.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and adoption of AV solutions.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track KPIs to measure the success and ROI of AV product implementations.
- Training & Support: Develop training programs and documentation to empower clients and internal teams in utilizing AV systems effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years in AV solutions, business development, or technical sales, with a focus on enterprise or commercial systems.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AV technologies (e.g., video conferencing, digital signage, sound systems, control systems).
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects from inception to completion.
- Client-Facing Acumen: Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot AV system challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with AV industry standards (e.g., HDBaseT, Dante, Crestron, AMX) and certifications (e.g., CTS, AVIXA).
- Business Acumen: Ability to align AV solutions with client business objectives and revenue growth.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or AV certifications are a plus.
