Responsibility

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive software sales in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, including enterprises, SMEs, and government sectors.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, delivery) to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related fields; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software sales, IT services, or business development, preferably in the APAC region.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions, SaaS, or digital transformation services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
