Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand SGS's market share in the Port, Terminal, and Marine sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including port authorities, terminal operators, and marine service providers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver customized solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies.
- Prepare and present business proposals, contracts, and reports to senior management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards in all business activities.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the Port, Terminal, or Marine industries.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and closing business deals in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of the maritime and logistics sectors, including industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
