Responsibility
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding & Contract Logistics across Bali and surrounding regions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering customized logistics solutions.
- Create and present compelling business proposals, tenders, and contracts to secure new partnerships and expand the client portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, and marketing) to ensure seamless execution of business strategies and client deliverables.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth in the logistics sector.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
- Represent Toll Group at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, trade policies, and technological advancements impacting freight forwarding and contract logistics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and expanding client portfolios in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of international freight operations, including air, sea, and land transportation, as well as contract logistics solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
