Responsibility
- Analyze and document business requirements for insurance technology solutions, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements, enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Conduct gap analyses between existing systems and desired outcomes, proposing data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Develop detailed business cases, including cost-benefit analyses, to support technology investments and strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather insights, validate requirements, and ensure project deliverables meet business objectives.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in insurance to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Support the testing and validation of new systems, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements before deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes, products, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven expertise in requirements gathering, process modeling, and business case development.
- Proficiency in analytical tools and techniques, with advanced skills in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or relevant insurance qualifications are a plus.
