Responsibility
- Monitor and control Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance of HVAC, lighting, and other critical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system alarms, malfunctions, or inefficiencies in real time.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades, energy-saving initiatives, and compliance with industry standards.
- Generate and analyze reports on energy consumption, system performance, and operational metrics.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and client-specific requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to facility staff on BMS operations and best practices.
- Document all system changes, incidents, and resolutions for audit and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; technical certifications in BMS (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operating or maintaining Building Management Systems in commercial or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus), and energy management.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy-efficient building operations.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties for critical system support.
