As a Bridge Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in structural engineering to ensure the safety, durability, and efficiency of bridge structures. Responsibility
- Lead the planning, design, and analysis of bridge structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Conduct structural assessments and feasibility studies for new bridge projects, including load calculations and material selection.
- Oversee construction activities, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to develop innovative and cost-effective bridge solutions.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications for project documentation and regulatory approvals.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
- Stay updated with advancements in bridge engineering technologies and incorporate best practices into project designs.
- Ensure environmental sustainability and compliance with local regulations in all project phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge design, analysis, and construction supervision.
- Proficiency in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or SAP2000.
- Strong knowledge of international bridge design codes and standards (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocodes).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and meet deadlines.
- Experience working on infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
