Responsibility

  • Oversee all aspects of the daily breakfast buffet operations, ensuring seamless service and food consistency.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train kitchen staff to uphold 5-star presentation and safety standards.
  • Maintain tight inventory control to minimize food waste while ensuring high-quality fresh ingredients.
  • Monitor food safety and sanitation practices, strictly adhering to NEA and internal HACCP guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen management team to innovate and refresh buffet offerings periodically.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and station organization to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Address guest feedback promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction ratings.

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a 5-star hotel or fine-dining restaurant environment.
  • Strong expertise in high-volume breakfast buffet production and presentation.
  • Possess a valid Food Hygiene Officer certificate or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse kitchen teams.
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of international and local breakfast cuisine.
  • Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
