Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM software for architectural, structural, and M&E systems.
- Create detailed M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) drawings and coordinate with engineers and architects to ensure design integrity.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM models into workflows, improving efficiency and reducing clashes.
- Generate and update construction documentation, including shop drawings, as-built models, and technical reports.
- Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues between disciplines (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
- Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans (BEP), industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and client specifications.
- Support quantity takeoffs and cost estimation using BIM data for project budgeting.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, trends, and best practices to enhance modeling efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a BIM Modeller or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing BIM projects.
- Proficiency in Revit (Mandatory), AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM tools (e.g., ArchiCAD, Tekla).
- Experience in M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) modeling and coordination.
- Familiarity with BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, AIA, or local regulations) and clash detection workflows.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are a plus.
