Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate BIM models for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure clash detection and resolution in multi-disciplinary models.
- Generate and update M&E shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination models in compliance with project specifications.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material estimations from BIM models to support procurement and cost control.
- Conduct model reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to BIM execution plans (BEP).
- Support the integration of sustainable design principles into M&E systems for energy-efficient and eco-friendly construction.
- Prepare 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost) simulations to optimize project timelines and budgets.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members on BIM best practices and workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM modeling, with a focus on M&E systems in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM collaboration tools (e.g., BIM 360, Solibri).
- Strong understanding of M&E design principles, local building codes, and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC).
- Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and generating construction documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in complex technical environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
