Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for construction projects using industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure BIM models align with project specifications and design intent.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution to identify and mitigate potential conflicts in design and construction phases.
- Generate accurate construction documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports, from BIM models.
- Implement BIM standards and best practices to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM tools and workflows.
- Participate in project meetings to review BIM deliverables and address technical challenges.
- Stay updated with emerging BIM technologies and industry trends to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a BIM Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, design principles, and BIM standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to BIM.
- Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
