Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage BIM models across multiple disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution using tools like Navisworks or Solibri to identify and mitigate conflicts in models.
- Support project teams in the implementation of BIM execution plans (BEP) and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Facilitate model reviews and coordination meetings with stakeholders to align on project requirements and deliverables.
- Generate and maintain BIM documentation, including model audit reports, clash reports, and progress updates.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to troubleshoot modeling issues and optimize workflows.
- Train and mentor junior team members on BIM best practices and software tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in BIM methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role in the AEC industry.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Solibri.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, COBie) and project delivery workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on model accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM 360) are a plus.
