Responsibility
- Create and maintain accurate BIM and CAD models for water treatment plant components, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate design changes and resolve technical discrepancies.
- Generate detailed 2D drawings and 3D renderings for construction, fabrication, and installation purposes.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate multidisciplinary models to identify and resolve spatial conflicts.
- Prepare and update as-built drawings and documentation to reflect project progress and modifications.
- Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to produce high-quality deliverables for client reviews and approvals.
- Ensure all designs adhere to local regulations, safety standards, and sustainability best practices.
- Support the project team with technical expertise during construction phases, including site queries and RFI responses.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in BIM/CAD drafting for infrastructure, water treatment, or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks; familiarity with BIM 360 is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, P&IDs, and structural details.
- Experience working on large-scale engineering projects, preferably in the water or utilities sector.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work remotely and collaborate across time zones.
- Knowledge of Singapore’s construction standards (e.g., BCA, PUB) is highly advantageous.
