Responsibility
- Process and generate accurate invoices, credit memos, and billing statements in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports, ensuring timely collections and minimizing overdue balances.
- Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, customer service, finance) to verify contract terms, pricing, and payment terms.
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports, including AR aging, cash receipts, and revenue recognition.
- Implement and maintain efficient billing workflows, leveraging accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP systems).
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all receivables are accurately recorded.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related finance role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience in a global or remote work environment is highly advantageous.
