Responsibility
- Contact healthcare providers to verify and update billing information for injured workers.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of billing documents to facilitate prompt reimbursement.
- Resolve discrepancies in billing information through effective communication and follow-up.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions and transactions in the company’s database.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Monitor and track the status of billing submissions to ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Identify and escalate complex billing issues to the appropriate departments for resolution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in billing, collections, or customer service, preferably in the healthcare or BPO industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with healthcare providers.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with healthcare billing processes and terminology is an advantage.
