Responsibility
- Design and deliver engaging, bilingual Social Studies and Civics lessons using project-based learning methodologies.
- Facilitate student-led discussions and activities that explore real-world issues, civic responsibility, and cultural awareness.
- Integrate local Balinese and Indonesian context into global social studies themes to create meaningful connections.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units that align with school-wide learning objectives.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, empathy, and active participation.
- Organize community-based projects, field trips, or guest speaker sessions to enhance learning.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student development.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field (Masterâs preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in bilingual or international school settings.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of project-based learning and student-centered pedagogies.
- Passion for civic education, global citizenship, and community engagement.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt curriculum to diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds.
- Familiarity with Indonesian national curriculum standards is a plus.
