Responsibility
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable in QuickBooks for diverse clients.
- Prepare and process financial statements, invoices, and expense reports with meticulous accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with Spanish and English-speaking clients to clarify financial queries and provide support.
- Maintain organized digital records of transactions, receipts, and financial documents.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Identify discrepancies in financial data and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline bookkeeping workflows and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and financial best practices relevant to client industries.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is mandatory.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, with QuickBooks proficiency.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with reliable internet connectivity.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
