As the Batching Plant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of concrete, managing a team of operators, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will directly impact project timelines, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction. Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the batching plant, ensuring efficient and high-quality concrete production.
- Manage and lead a team of plant operators, technicians, and support staff to meet production targets.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, including mixers, conveyors, and control systems, to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA, or local regulations).
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to align production schedules with project timelines.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems for raw materials (cement, aggregates, additives) to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Generate and analyze production reports, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in batching plant operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of concrete mix designs, production processes, and quality control standards.
- Proficient in using batching plant software and control systems (e.g., Command Alkon, MCT, or similar).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, local Indonesian safety standards) and environmental compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (preferred).
