Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages using hand-pour, espresso, and milk-steaming techniques.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in managing inventory, including coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems efficiently.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu specialties.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic café atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.
Qualifications
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn advanced barista skills (training provided).
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or as a barista is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive and adaptable attitude.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in coffee preparation and presentation.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high service standards.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (part-time/casual basis).
- Basic knowledge of café equipment (e.g., espresso machines, grinders) is advantageous.
